Festival in Kaibara

Last week I went with David to Kaibara to visit the juku (cram school) classes I'm going to be taking over there. There are four classes in total, two at the cram school itself, and two more at a factory nearby. From what I could see from visiting the classes, all of the students are lovely, and the beginners class at the nozzle factory was especially genki and keen to learn. I think I'm really going to enjoy teaching there.

While David and I were in Kaibara, it seemed that all the locals were getting ready for some kind of festival and there were beautiful white paper lanterns hung up all around the town. They looked so nice I had to get a picture and this one actually came out halfway decent!
