Saraba, Najio

Yesterday was my last day at Najio, a kids school I've been going to for the past 2 1/2 years. I'm really going to miss the Najio Kids, especially my seniors. They were probably the best senior class I've ever taught. Every single one of them is smart, polite, well-behaved and enthusiastic. They love to sing and they get really into any game we play; they always remember the language and can often use English independantly to express themselves. Basically a whole class of perfect students; I'm really, really, really, really going to miss them.

I wish I had a better picture, but my camera-phone sucks. Anyway in the back row are Erika and Aoi, and in the front are Mai, Takumi and Aoi's sister, Kaede who isn't in the class, but who often stops by.

Goog Morninger! (In other news, my MJ winning streak continues; I made ¥2500 last night!)

On a Roll!

After being a in a Mah Jong slump for almost 3 months, I'm back on a winning streak. Yeah! I took home the top spot the last three times I played and yesterday I won ¥4,600.

My luck yesterday was amazing; it was like I couldn't lose if I wanted too. The doras just kept rolling in and even if I was waiting for a really unlikely tile, it just popped up like magic. Let's see how long this lasts...
