Sanda: City of Flowers, Water and Trees
A few weeks ago Shoichi and I went to Kazan-in, an ancient temple in the mountains in Sanda. It's the home of the seven lucky Jizo statues and has a spectacular view of the whole town.

A Jizo statue wearing a knitted red cap. Jizo is the protector of children.

Sunset over Sanda as seen from Kazan-in.

Statues of the Seven Lucky Jizo.

A lovely full moon over the mountains.
